Martin Schleef Celebrates 20 Years at TRIMIT

Two decades into his journey at TRIMIT, Martin Schleef still values the same qualities that made an impression on him when he first joined: an open culture, the freedom to take initiative, and the trust to make his own decisions.

While his roles and responsibilities have evolved considerably over the years, those fundamental qualities have remained constant – and continue to be the reason he enjoys coming to work.

“When I first joined TRIMIT, I remember it being a very open workplace – much like it is today. There was room to pursue your interests, take initiative, and shape your own role.”


From Support to Product Specialist

Martin began his TRIMIT career in customer support, where his programming skills quickly proved valuable. His technical abilities soon led to greater responsibilities.

First, he became responsible for the support team, and a few years later, he also took on responsibility for the developers. Today, Martin works as a Product Specialist, supporting TRIMIT's partners by helping them troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Although his responsibilities have changed over the years, one thing has remained consistent: the opportunity to take ownership of his work and follow his professional interests.

Twenty Years Built on Trust

When asked what has kept him at TRIMIT for two decades, Martin's answer is remarkably similar to his first impressions of the company.

“You get to do what you enjoy, and there's a high degree of independence. People trust you to make the right decisions. That's what makes it enjoyable to work here – and that's why I'm still here.”

For Martin, that trust extends beyond the freedom to make decisions. It also shapes his relationships with the people around him.

“I feel comfortable here because there's a high level of trust from the people I work with.”

And perhaps that's what makes Martin's 20-year anniversary particularly meaningful. Throughout two decades of changing roles and responsibilities, the culture that welcomed him in the beginning has remained the foundation of his working life.
